We’re off on the biggest Glee adventure yet! 8 days of singing together every morning and then filling our afternoons and evenings with shows, singalongs, workshops and tours – it’s the singer’s bucket list tour of London!

There are no auditions and no commitment beyond the 8 days in the UK. You don’t need to be a part of one of our choirs to join in – we’ll be learning all the music there.  All you have to do is get yourself to London and then come along for the ride!

 

Dates and details

September 22 – 30, 2024

We’ll be starting in London for 6 nights from the afternoon of Sunday Sept 22. We’ll then head to Bath for the final 2 nights to take part in Choir Lab 2024. The tour will finish in Bath on the morning of Monday September 30.

We’ll sing together every morning and then fill our afternoons and evenings with shows, tours, workshops and musical experiences. Vicky Jacobs and Katie Pryce will be leading the adventures.

 

Cost

The cost is $4510AUD including GST (and VAT). This is per person twin share.

If you would rather not share a room, the single supplement cost is $6517AUD.

If you’ve got a partner or buddy who would like to come along but doesn’t want to sing, they’re very welcome. Just let us know on the registration form that they’d rather not sing and we’ll book them some special arty experiences to keep them busy while the rest of us are rehearsing. They’ll still join us for all the shows and tours.

What’s not included

  • Airfares from Australia (or wherever you’re coming from). Basically you’ll meet us at the hotel in London and we’ll wave you goodbye from the hotel in Bath.
  • Travel insurance. You’ll need to organise appropriate cover and send us the details before leaving Australia.

Registrations will open on Friday November 24. A $1000 deposit is required to secure your spot.

Terms and Conditions

London with Glee terms and conditions:

  • You are responsible for booking your own airfares and transfers to and from London/Bath. One way train travel between London and Bath will be provided by Glee Club Singing.
  • It is a requirement of participation in this tour that you are in possession of valid comprehensive travel insurance. You are required to provide evidence of comprehensive travel insurance at the time of your final payment for the tour, or your booking may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.
  • A valid passport is required for all international travel, and it is your responsibility to ensure that you possess a passport valid for 6 months after the date of your return to Australia. You are responsible for obtaining all necessary visas, vaccinations and preventative medicines required for the tour, unless otherwise specifically stated. Glee Club Singing will endeavour to provide you with information on passport, visa and vaccination requirements in good faith, but assumes no responsibility.
  • A deposit of $1000 must be made in order to secure your position on the tour. You will have a 14 “cooling off” period during which time you can release your position on the tour and have your deposit refunded in full (minus credit card fees). After this period, if you are to cancel your position on the tour, the deposit will only be refunded if a suitable candidate can be found to replace you on the tour.
  • Final payment must be made by July 1, 2024.
  • Glee Club Singing reserves the right to cancel the tour at its discretion. Should it do so, you will receive a refund of the full tour cost (minus credit card fees), unless the tour has been cancelled as a result of Force Majeure.
  • If a Force Majeure event requires Glee Club Singing to cancel the tour, we will contact suppliers to cancel arrangements and refund to you as much of the tour cost as possible (minus credit card fees), based on the funds that we have been able to recover. Many payments made to suppliers are non-refundable, including hotel deposits and payments for performance tickets, and suppliers use discretion as to what they return.
  • If a Force Majeure event occurs during a tour, which results in services or facilities becoming unavailable, and there is no alternative arrangement of similar monetary value available, we will substitute the best available alternative and refund to you any savings made, or charge you for additional costs incurred.

Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit, exclude or modify the guarantees implied by statute that cannot be limited, excluded or modified under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (CAA) or any equivalent applicable under state or territory law. If any guarantees are implied by law that cannot be excluded, then to the extent permitted by law, our liability for such guarantees is limited, at our option, to:

i) in the case of goods, the replacement of goods, or the supply of equivalent goods, or the payment of the costs of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods; and

ii) in the case of services, the supply of services again, or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.

To the extent permitted by law, Victoria Jacobs trading as Glee Club Singing is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, cost, damage, liability or expense.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time, without notice. The terms and conditions apply as at the date of your initial booking.
