Led by renowned Musical Director and Head Gleeber, Vicky Jacobs, Glee Plus rehearse in short seasons towards a performance.

We rehearse on Saturday afternoons 4:00 – 6:00 at the fabulous Malthouse Theatre in the heart of Southbank. And we don’t have tea break – we have Wine Time!

There are no auditions for Glee Plus – just a willingness to throw yourself in and give it a go.

It’s no drama if you miss a week or two – we understand that we all live busy lives and so we livestream and record the sessions and give you lots of resources so you can sing at home and catch up through our Patreon page.

We love to accept new singers to come and give it go at the beginning of each season. Numbers are strictly limited – we want our choirs to stay personal and not too huge!

Season 1, 2026 open for registrations

Dates: January 31 – March 21
Rehearsals: Saturdays 4pm – 6pm at The Malthouse
Performances: Feb 22 at Teddy Bear’s Picnic at Rippon Lea + another performance TBC hopefully on March 22
Cost: $288 with a 10% discount if you’re in one of our other regular choirs. 20% discount available for pensioners and health care card holders. Afterpay available.
Want to try it out first before committing? No worries! Just choose the give it a go option on the registration form and you can come along to the first session for just $22 before deciding if you’d like to go ahead for the whole season.

Looking ahead for 2026

Here are our anticipated dates for the rest of the year. They may change a little due to performances but will stay pretty similar to this:

Season 2

May 2 – May 16
Optional trip to Australian Musical Theatre Festival May 22 – 24
Then May 30 – June 20 with a TBC performance in the following week

Season 3

July 4 – August 29 with a performance on either September 5 or 6

Season 4

October 3 – November 28 (no rehearsal Cup weekend)
Performance on Friday December 4 at Brunswick Ballroom
