DESCRIPTION:Glee East is the newest member of our Glee Club family and gets together every Thursday evening at our brand new home\, Kew RSL. Glee East is led by renowned voice trainer Chris Nolan. \nWe work in 10 week seasons towards a performance. There are no auditions for Glee East – just a willingness to do a bit of practice! It’s no drama if you miss a week or two – we understand that we all live busy lives and so we zoom and record the sessions and give you lots of resources so you can sing at home and catch up. \nAnd we love to bring the fun to choir rehearsals – we don’t have tea break\, we have wine time!

In 2024\, Song Club is growing to include two sessions a week on Wednesday evenings and Friday lunchtimes. Each season will be themed and we’ll be kicking off with a season devoted entirely to music theatre. \nOur first season for the year is focusing on musicals and will run from March 13 – May 29 with an optional performance on June 3 at Fringe Common Rooms. We’ll be exploring a range of skills including: breath and phrasing\, acting through song and different vocal qualities and when how to use them.
